7/31 Chance!
Today the beach was so calm like a big river under the light sun. We
started to leave the shore by a round boat. There are 7 persons on the boat. It
could be called this is an international trip to the seabed of the sea off in
Danang.
I was first time to join the diving
activity of Furama Hotel. That is the chance while I am working for an
institutional strengthen project implemented by groups of AusAID and World Bank
for Danang’s Environment. I took part in their off- work activity!
About 7 or 8 kilometers far from the shore of ocean of Furama Resort
the boat arrived the anchorage near the reef of corals of Danang’s sea.
There are 3 sailors, one master of the Furama Resort, a German; one
Australian; one British and me the lucky audient, an only lady in the trip.
The reef of corals in Danang is still famous for its natural and its
wild & untouched beauty.
While the three other were diving for the depth of 17 or 18 meters,
I thought it must be impressive for the eyes, I was trained by one of the sailors

Balancing by the rocky boat, I jumped into the blue water of about
20 meter depth, (had to say that I swam on the surface!). The sun shined
lightly today then therefore I just have a poor vision into the water under my
legs but the great blue of the ocean which invaded my eyes.
With the help of the snorkel and the thoroughly instruction, I have
first time in my life seen the reef of corals. I have not had a chance to
contemplate the angles fish that the three others told to me later. But I saw
others fish with some bright- yellow round on its body, some school of other
fish. Bet to you it is not fish in the glass basins or on Television any more.
How beautiful and impressive it is the Nature around us.
The diving team continued to dive at another anchorage near the cave
called “Bat Cave”. One hour of diving for each anchorage might give to the
divers a pretty tired face but I GUESS they must be happy and satisfied today.
Returning at early afternoon, the wind were arising, I revealed to you
that the wave in me might be stronger than the waves under the boat. Because I
realized my dream coming into the truth that is the grand blue behind my back
today strengthened to me the love for the oceans!
Chance is chance however I still wonder that what will be the next
chance for me to wander on the sea. Look! the boat was ahead, it touch and
stirred the water, that made fish jumped upon the surface; there were some of
them flew for few meters ahead!
